A Little Bit About Me...
Hi! My name is Kendall Cappel and I am an Accounting and Marketing student in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati and I will be graduating in May 2019. After graduation, I am looking to pass the CPA exam and work in an Accounting firm in Cincinnati.
I was accepted into the Kolodzik Business Scholars Program prior to making my college decision. I graduated Valedictorian from Seton High School in 2014. Since being a Bearacat, I've had the opportunity to hold leadership roles and be a member in a multitude of organizations. Some of my favorite memories include being the Homecoming Parade Chair in 2017, the KBS President for the 2017-2018 academic year, and the Vice Chair of SACUB in the 2018-2019 academic year. I've worked in the Office of the President for four years assisting with day to day operations, helping to plan the Presidential Inauguration in 2017, and volunteering at football and basketball tailgates. I've led the University Honors Program retreat for two years and was selected as a retreat coordinator in 2017. Since being at UC, I've traveled to Montreal, Quebec, Vienna, Austria, Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, London, England, and Paris, France. For my upcoming graduation, I was awarded the Outstanding Accounting Student and Outstanding Lindner Undergraduate Student from the College of Business. Additionally, I am a recipient of the Presidential Leadership Medal of Excellence, a prestigious University-level Undergraduate award.
